We had the pleasure of house sitting for my sister-in-law's dog Macie for the past week. We are dog lovers but not a couple that has ever truly wanted one of our own because of how much work they tend to be. We like to have our own schedule and not feel tied down, but after having her for a week, it almost, I said almost, made us reconsider. We would rush home at lunch and home from work to be with her and almost found ourselves trying to go away separately so we wouldn't leave her alone. I almost had a tear today knowing she was leaving - wow - how unexpected. (Don't worry Elvis Geurink - no one could replace you though:)

Isn't she the best...see that is why i call every day to check in..because she is SO loveable!! I am happy to have her home ;) but i am glad that she had fun by you! Thanks again!!
p.s. it's Macie MAY ;) But it's all good if you want to spell it the other way :)
i'm also anxious to see how she sleeps tonight :)
Thanks for adding the comment about Elv, he would have been hurt if only Macie made you want a dog, not him. And as for not wanting a dog b/c they mess up your schedule--you better get used to that with Baby coming!! :)
and a dog would be less likely to mess up your day, because you can leave it home alone ...it won't have to eat every 2-3 hours, and it usually won't keep you up all night long. Haha just kidding Jill... ;)
Where did you get your "What will the baby be" thing? That is fun:)
